Space ODYSSEY’S oRBIT1
In February, I enrolled in a UI/UX certificate program with the New Jersey Institute of Technology. During this month, I was introduced to design fundamentals and gained knowledge on the foundations of visual, UI, and UX design, including the different roles within the industry and what it takes to be a successful designer today. I learned how to use some of the leading design software, particularly Photoshop and Figma, through demos, hands-on practice, and instructor and peer feedback.
About the Orbit1 Campaign project
As a part of the entry into the extended portion of the certificate program, I was required to pass the final assessment and complete the final project…
My final project involved creating three Instagram posts of content that advertise the Orbit1 spacecraft, a trip to the moon, and details about the suborbital trip. We were only given a couple of logo variations, a simple color palette, and typography, and we had to use our imagination (and what we learned in class) to take care of the rest!
