Visual Rebranding Project

About this Project

For my visual rebranding project, I decided to revamp the Smoker’s Club Festival brand. The Smoker’s Club is a 420-friendly lifestyle and streetwear brand based in New York City. The Smoker’s Club hosts music festivals throughout the country along with its annual Smoker’s Club Fest. I chose this organization because I felt as though the organization lacked consistency in their logo designs, so my goal was to create a visual theme that properly captures a retro, groovy vibe. My target audience ranges from hip-hop music lovers, to vintage fanatics, and “stoners”.

The biggest challenge for me during this project was to actually step out of my “people pleasing” mentality and of my comfort zone, and step into an independent creative flow. I began by playing around with the logo design, typography and color palette so that I have a framework to build my deliverables from. One of my biggest lessons in this project was incorporating accessible elements to my design because of the vibrant color palette. I used a mix of Procreate, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign for this project.
